The water crisis is no longer a future problem.

It is an urgent reality

The global

water challenge

Those numbers are not just statistics. They represent people. Entire communities living daily under silent urgency.

+2.000

million people

live in areas suffering from severe water stress.

+800 children under

the age of 5

die every day from diseases linked to contaminated water and lack of sanitation.

By 2050

global demand for fresh water is expected to rise by 20% to 30%.

The regions most affected by climate change

are also those with the greatest difficulty accessing clean water.

Our goal is to bring clean and safe water

to the as many people as possible.

Where there is sun, there can be clean water.

Every day, 785 million people live without reliable access to clean drinking water. In many parts of the world, accessing water is not as simple as turning on a tap — it means walking for miles, relying on contaminated sources, or depending on systems that don’t reach them.

At Singular Water, we believe this can change.

At Singular Water, we believe this can change. And we believe the solution is right above our heads: the sun.

We develop low-cost solar desalination plants, designed for real communities — where freshwater access is urgent and traditional systems have failed or never arrived.

Our portable systems generate 250 litres per day—ideal for families or small rural settlements—while industrial modules can produce up to 50.000 litres per day. We offer solutions at various scales, with one shared goal: to make clean water no longer a luxury.

Solar energy in service of life

Solar energy is abundant, free, renewable—and most present in the regions where water is most scarce. That’s why our technologies rely solely on solar power, with no electricity required, no generators and no grid connection.

Our systems are engineered to be completely autonomous, even in areas without infrastructures.

✔ No complex maintenance required

✔ Scalable—from small communities to entire municipalities

✔  Installed using local resources and labour

✔ Lower costs, reduced energy consumption and minimal environmental footprint

Our desalination systems produce fresh water at flow rates ranging from

  250 litres/day > 250.000 litres/day

How do we do it?

1

Heat gain

Dual-technology solar collectors to capture solar energy.

2

Salt removal process

Low-temperature and low-pressure distillers with a steam–water heat exchanger.

3

Heat loss

Residual energy dissipators to remove excess heat from the condensation process.

We aim to generate a lasting impact on communities, the social economy and the environment.

We foster self-sufficiency and reduce disease. We strengthen local economies and development. What is more, we are committed to the environment through our use of solar energy, reducing dependence on fossil fuels. We are a 100% renewable solution designed to preserve natural resources such as water and energy.

More about the project

Technical advantages of the system

More reasons to choose us

Energy efficiency

Uses solar energy to minimise reliance on external power sources.

  Modular design

The system is scalable and adaptable to different fresh water production needs.

  Low maintenance

Requires minimal maintenance due to its simple, robust design, allowing local operation with no advanced technical knowledge.

  Optimal operating conditions

Operates in sub-atmospheric conditions with controlled temperatures, improving desalination efficiency
